The NYFA Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree is designed for undergraduate students who wish to integrate intensive professional training with a comprehensive liberal arts education. The Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees in Filmmaking, Acting, Screenwriting, Producing, Photography, Animation, and Game Design are a rigorous mixture of hands-on experiential work, employing state-of-the-art facilities and equipment, and a rich academic curriculum.
NYFA offers BFA programs in three locations: New York City, Los Angeles, and South Beach.
Located next to Warner Bros. Studios, our Los Angeles campus is literally at the center of the American entertainment industry. The New York City facilities are located in Battery Park, directly across from the Statue of Liberty and minutes away from the trendy TriBeCa neighborhood. The location places students directly in the center of New York’s vibrant film and television industry, with easy access to Broadway and the city’s unparallelled cultural institutions.
In addition, NYFA also offers Bachelor of Fine Arts degree programs in Filmmaking and Acting at our South Beach location in Miami, Florida. The South Beach neighborhood in Miami is a vibrant and diverse area in a city that is full of culture. Students are able to take advantage of the incredible Miami weather and landscape by scouting locations throughout the city in which to film and shoot original projects.
